Competition is always good … Especially for Copy Café!
Why? Because the Copy Café business model fills the need for office services and does so at a price level advantageous to the consumer. In today’s tougher economic times, consumers are extremely price conscience and are looking to achieve the best value for their dollar.
The major competitors of a Copy Café include FedEx Office® (formerly Kinko’s), OfficeMax®, Office Depot® and Staples®. Similar to these corporate giants, a Copy Café is a full service copy and digital printing center. And similar to FedEx Office®, Copy Café offers a full complement of other business related services as well.
As a secondary group of competitors, some of the pack and ship franchises offer a copier or two to produce copies for clients. But since none of these competitors would ever be considered a genuine Copy Center, none are really much of a competitor.
In its role as a genuine Copy Center, a Copy Café is rather perfectly positioned in the market to fill a wide range of consumer needs. As an example of just one of these, when comparing the consumer cost of its core services with ‘the big four’, a Copy Café has between a 25% and 40% price advantage. Especially in today’s economy, that’s a big need … that we fill with real value! At a time when smart people are saying ‘every penny counts’, this is the type of value consumers (and businesses) are looking for and once found, will truly appreciate. And then they go on to share ‘the news’ with others too!
